It’s Sunday evening. Fall is approaching, it’s starting to get chilly outside and many of you probably just want to lazily stay indoors relaxing. If you are looking for something to do, here is some entertainment for you.
Rachel Khoo was born in South London to a Chinese/Malaysian father and an Austrian mother. She is a chef, writer and broadcaster, with her own TV series on the BBC. After studying at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and working in public relations on the fashion industry, she moved to Paris. She undertook a three-month patisserie course at Le Cordon Bleu where she gained a pastry degree, whilst working part-time as an au pair. Later on, she worked at La Cocotte, a cookbook store where she also ran baking workshops. She opened the littlest restaurant in Paris in her 21-sqared-meters studio flat in Paris – for two guests only! Alas, it was only temporary and it’s closed now! Her last book, The Little Paris Kitchen, is also the name of her first TV series on BBC.
